MASmart was originally developed in 2003 for the banking sector as a specific response to the new MAS reporting requirements of the day. We have continually added schedules to the basic 610 and are able to provide a complete solution for banks of any size or type, though implementation is faster for Offshore and Wholesale banks.
During 2017 we started developing the successor to the MASmart system which we have dubbed MASMART2. So far, our developments are based on the draft schedules released by the MAS for the new Notice 610,although we fully recognize that further changes to them are inevitable. Also, there will be changes to other schedules, such as Notice 640 and 649, that will need to be reflected in MASMART2.
With minimal additions to the data required for MASmart, we will be able to produce a complete and accurate MASMART2 which we will be able to run in parallel with MASmart throughout the 30 month implementation period provided by the MAS.
